at home in provence.

“i’m off to my country home in Provence. you know, paris is just so crowded and warm in the summer months, we simply must get away” — wouldn’t we all like to say that? i’d be very down with that. ouí. home life recently featured this paris couple’s rustic country retreat in arles, france and they had me dreaming of my own little summer escape. the things i love best about this pretty place are those terrazzo floors (so in again!) and its modern simplicity. linen slipcovers smashing in summer whites, black butterfly chairs, and even those vintage black leather folding chairs give this rustic pad a hip edge, that je nais se quoi — that quality that eludes description but the french are able to pull off so perfectly. to see the full tour of this beautiful french country home, visit home life.
